Was Your Mother Ever a Prostitute?

When is an interview question too personal or out of lines? The GM of the Miami Dolphins, Jeff Ireland, asked Dez Bryant (recently picked up wide receiver for the Cowboys) had his mother ever been a prostitute. Many sports reporters think the question is fair because Dez has been in a bit of trouble in the past and by being a first round draft pick he will make millions of dollars.

BULL CRAP!!! Ask anything you want about what Dez has done and what Dez believes in but asking if his mother was a prostitue is out of line. You want to know how many football players’ parents are less than idealic citizens of the United States. You got your alcoholic fathers, wife beating dads, suburban pill poppin mothers, not to mention your child molestors. The sins of the parents are not necessarily the sins of the children.

And I understand that players make millions of dollars but owners and the NFL make much, much, more or they would not be owners and there would not be an NFL. Furthermore, somehow I don’t think the CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies who earn millions were asked such intimate questions about their parents.

How come the person that talks the most bullshit about getting rich is also the laziest MF in the room? Unless you are born into wealth, it takes early mornings, stressed out days and long nights to make money. You know who you are, stop talking to ThisRichLife if you’re lazy and not willing to make it happen. You’re not Building an Empire just boring the hell out of everybody!!!!!

Do y’all know what Comeuppance is? It means you have lived your life in a bad way (dishonest, mean, rude unlawful, ect) and you finally get what you deserve.

Michael Douglas’ son has been charged with drug trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine and is facing a mandatory 10 year sentence. You should hear all the excuses to why the courts should be lenient towards him. Michael Douglas pleaded with the judge that his son has been burdened with a famous name and that his son grew up as a single child in a bad marriage. His famous grandfather Kirk Douglas and his stepmother Catherine Zeta-Jones have all asked the court for mercy.

I’m always amazed at the privileged. I wonder how they would feel if a drug dealer strung their son out on coke. Would they be so merciful to understand the circumstances that led the drug dealer to become a drug dealer? Stop making excuses for your son, Michael Douglas, and start putting some money on his books.

Daily Drama - Does Marriage Still Work in 2010

With the most recent outings of extra-marital liaisons, does the institute of marriage still make sense in 2010 or is it an extent ideal that allows us to “legitimately” have kids and freely have sex.

In the United States 40-50% of marriages end in divorce the highest percentage being couples between the ages of 20-34 years old. The divorce rate for first marriages is 41%, for second marriages is 60% and the third marriage is 73%. So the old myth that second and third marriages are more successful is totally false.

What are the major causes of divorce? Is it money, infidelity, children? No in fact, the major reason for divorce is lack of communication. The second reason is that we rarely discuss our expectations…we assume way too much.

Who gets divorced? Is there a pattern? Truth be known there is no pattern however people who come from divorced homes are more likely to get divorced than people that come from a happily married home. Also all those people that believe that living together before marriage lessens the divorce rate. WRONG!! People that live together before marriage are much more likely to get divorced.

So my question to you all out there, the faithful and the unfaithful….do you still believe in marriage?

Who Wants to be the Next Trick Hoe?

When did it become popular to show your Hoe-ness. Back in the day when you slept with a married person, you kept quiet about it. Now every trick hoe is screaming at the top of her lungs that she slept with Tiger or she slept with Jesse James. What really is funny about these skeezoids is that they think they should be treated well. One girl wants an apology from Tiger. For What??? You knew the man was married and essentially a liar. One hooker said Tiger never flew her first class. I wouldn’t fly a hoe first class either. You got a plane ticket…that’s enough. And Gloria Alredd, you have turned into a grade A clown. Gloria has lost all credibility getting mixed up with these attention getting hoes and having press conferences. Ladies can you go back to having affairs with married men and just blackmailing them for money instead of trying to be the next tabloid star and spare US the drama????

Who wants free Jello? An elderly couple was recently arrested for stealing packets of pistachio and butterscotch pudding. They would buy the pudding at the grocery store and replace the contents with sand and then return the tampered packages back to the store for a refund. Now my question is, did they do this for food or for sport? I don’t know if this is just plain sad or funny.

So with the recession still in full swing, do you find yourself spending less at Saks, Neimans, or Barneys and more at Target?  I’m just sayin, somehow those $1,500 shoes just don’t make as much sense now as they did 3-5 years ago.  When so many of our friends and family members are losing their jobs, or worried about losing their jobs, does it seem right or as fun to splurge on the frivolous?

What was the Most Shocking Story of 2009

Well, This Rich Life family, the year is over and 2010 is upon us.  So what was this years most shocking or amazing story?  Was it President Obama’s historic inauguration; Sully landing the US Airways plane in the Hudson River; the summer epidemic of the swine flu, the sudden death of Michael Jackson; Serena Williams cursing out the line judge; or Tiger Woods libido.

I believe all the of these and many more events and deaths left us with either a sense of “awe” or in disbelief.
