What if it were in New England?

With the oil still gushing at alarming rates in the gulf, I am wondering if there would be a quicker solution if the oil spill was in New England. Just imagine if this disaster had happened near New England or off the California coast would there be more urgency in finding a solution. Just like Katrina it seems that the Government is not so much of a hurry to fix things. In New Orleans the fixed up the Superdome and surrounding areas pretty swiftly, and they ensured that there was plenty of media coverage about that, but travel to down to the areas that are not affected by tourism and see how much has been done. Just something to make think!!

Sex Addiction????

What’s up fam? I was listening to the radio this week and the host made a good point. Is there really a so called sex addiction or is it that you are married? You see if you have multiple partners as a single woman or man it is considered having a good time or sewing your oats, but if you are married it turns to sex addiction. This could be an excuse but the facts are still true. Let’s take the samples of Tiger Woods vs Derek Jeter, Jeter is doing the same things that Tiger is doing but he is not getting all the attention and is not called a sex addict. So it looks like the biggest mistake Tiger made was getting married! Holla at your boy!

“Gangstas”

Why do people feel the need to carry guns? Is it that they want to be a “gangsta”, they feel they need protection, or is it just cool. In any case it does not make any sense. If people feel they need to protect themselves hire a professional, if they think it’s cool well it’s not, and if they want to be a gangsta they are in for a rude awakening. Gangstas don’t have a very long life expectancy and it is not come and go as you please, either you are all the way in or not and once in there is no out. I just have one question to all those who carry guns for whatever reason, ARE YOU REALLY PREPARED TO KILL SOMEONE, this is not a game. Holla at your boy and let me know what you think

Racism, Double Standard or ????

I just want to know where are all the “organizations and do gooders” now when it comes to Charlie Sheen? It has been almost a week and no one has come out to say anything against him. I still see Hanes commercials and his t.v. show is still on. When Chris Brown had his issues they could not wait to line to boycott anything that he was promoting and they are STILL talking about Tiger and we are not even going to talk about Mike Vick. Someone out there needs to let me know what the deal is. I hate to pull the race card but I do believe that it is appropriate at this point. Please help me understand this blatant racism, double standard or ???
